About Datoire Foundation

Datoire Foundation, established in 2020 by Obiamaka, a second-generation immigrant woman of Nigerian and Sierra Leonean descent, embodies a visionary commitment to fostering equitable access to education, the arts, and wellness. Drawing inspiration from her diverse educational background, including an MBA from the Simon Graduate Business School in Rochester, NY, and a rich international experience in France, Switzerland, and the Czech Republic, Obiamaka's journey culminated in a decade-long career in Finance and Accounting across various sectors.

Driven by a passion for community engagement, Obiamaka balanced her professional pursuits with dance, volunteerism, and mentorship, where she directly encountered the daunting barriers faced by individuals and families in accessing quality education, affordable arts programs, and wellness resources. This firsthand experience fueled her determination to create lasting change.

Our mission is both straightforward and audacious: we leverage data insights to design impactful programming that dismantles barriers and democratizes education, the arts, and wellness. Recognizing the systemic challenges and biases hindering access to these vital resources, we are committed to collaboratively addressing these issues within the communities we serve.

Education: Our education program is a catalyst for supporting students and job seekers. We provide access to technology resources, educational workshops, interactive learning experiences, and networking opportunities, empowering individuals to overcome educational barriers.

The Arts:  Our arts program is a vibrant force dedicated to cultivating understanding and empathy across diverse socio-economic backgrounds. We champion equitable access to the arts, ensuring that creativity and cultural expression are accessible to all.

Wellness:  Our wellness initiative is a beacon of support, with a primary focus on offering mental health resources to those in need. Recognizing the pervasive struggle to access mental health services, we strive to bridge the gap through collaborations with mental health professionals, empowering our community to prioritize mental well-being.

We are resolute in our dedication to helping individuals and families surmount obstacles to education, the arts, and wellness. Our commitment is unwavering as we strive to create meaningful change and contribute to the realization of a brighter and more equitable future for all.
